ANTI MICROBIAL RESITANTT Markers PCR ASSAY
The Retro Biotech AMR Panel is a comprehensive multiplex qPCR assay designed exclusively for the detection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes, independent of specific pathogen targets. This modular panel can be used in combination with any pathogen panel (e.g., UTI, STI, wound, respiratory) to assess the presence of clinically significant resistance markers and guide targeted antimicrobial therapy.
The Retrobiotech AMR reagent kit consists of pre-formulated multiplex qPCR reactions and positive standards for the detection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes. The kit is designed for high-throughput and flexible use across diverse sample types and clinical panels (e.g., UTI, STI, wound, respiratory infections). Retrobiotech AMR reagents are supplied as ready-to-use reaction mixes in 2 mL) to support scalable laboratory workflows. It is strongly recommended to include amplification controls (AC) and negative controls (NC) with each batch (qPCR plate) of sample testing to ensure assay integrity and performance reliability.
