Retro Biotech’s Tropical Fever multiplex PCR panel is intended for the qualitative detection of pathogens associated with tropical febrile illnesses. The kit consolidates key viruses, bacteria, and a parasite target commonly implicated in outbreaks and endemic disease burden. A human internal control (IC) is included to monitor sample adequacy and PCR performance.
Reagents are manufactured and packaged as Open System Reagents (OSR) for use with Applied Biosystems QuantStudio (Design & Analysis v1.5.1+), Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast Dx (SDS v1.4+), and Bio-Rad CFX96/CFX384 (Maestro v1.1+) real-time PCR platforms. Multiplex reaction mixes (TFRM-1 to TFRM-3) are supplied as pre-mixed tubes for streamlined workflows.
The Tropical Fever kit consists of pre-formulated multiplex PCR reactions and controls for monitoring assay performance.
