for Salmonella Abortusequi qPCR Panel
The Salmonella Abortusequi Real-Time PCR Detection Kit enables rapid and specific detection of Salmonella Abortusequi DNA from equine aborted fetal tissues, placenta, uterine/vaginal swabs, fetal stomach contents, EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood, tissue specimens, and other appropriate veterinary clinical samples. It supports early diagnosis of equine salmonellosis associated with abortion, differential diagnosis of reproductive disorders, timely outbreak investigation, herd health management, and disease surveillance in horses, donkeys, and mules.
Intended Use
The Salmonella Abortusequi Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the detection of Salmonella Abortusequi nucleic acid in veterinary clinical specimens collected from equids, including horses, donkeys, and mules. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of Salmonella Abortusequi infection, supporting early disease detection, differential diagnosis of equine reproductive disorders, timely therapeutic intervention, outbreak investigation, disease surveillance, and effective clinical management in veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with highly specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes targeting a conserved genomic region of Salmonella Abortusequi.
During amplification, the probe specifically hybridizes to its target sequence and generates a fluorescence signal that is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, enabling sensitive, specific, and reliable detection of Salmonella Abortusequi nucleic acid.
