For Rinderpest Virus qPCR Panel
The Rinderpest Virus Real-Time PCR Detection Kit enables rapid and specific detection of Rinderpest virus RNA from bovine whole blood, ocular and nasal swabs, oral swabs, lymph node aspirates, spleen, lung, intestinal tissues, and other appropriate veterinary clinical samples. It supports early diagnosis, outbreak investigation, differential diagnosis of vesicular and febrile diseases, and disease surveillance in susceptible livestock populations.
Intended Use
The Rinderpest Virus Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the detection of Rinderpest virus nucleic acid in veterinary clinical specimens collected from susceptible livestock. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of rinderpest virus infection, supporting early disease detection, differential diagnosis of highly contagious vesicular and febrile diseases, outbreak investigation, disease surveillance, and effective veterinary disease control in diagnostic laboratories.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with highly specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes targeting a conserved genomic region of the Rinderpest virus genome.
During amplification, the probe specifically hybridizes to its target sequence and generates a fluorescence signal that is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, enabling sensitive, specific, and reliable detection of Rinderpest virus nucleic acid.
