for Lumpy skin Disease virus qPCR Panel
The Lumpy Skin Disease Virus Real-Time PCR Detection Kit enables rapid and specific detection of Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (LSDV) DNA from skin nodules, scab material, skin biopsies, EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood, serum, plasma, nasal and ocular swabs, lymph node aspirates, tissue specimens, and other appropriate veterinary clinical samples. It supports early diagnosis, differential diagnosis of vesicular and nodular skin diseases, timely outbreak management, and disease surveillance in cattle.
Intended Use
The Lumpy Skin Disease Virus Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the detection of Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (LSDV) nucleic acid in veterinary clinical specimens collected from cattle. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of lumpy skin disease, supporting early disease detection, differential diagnosis of nodular and vesicular skin diseases, timely implementation of outbreak control measures, disease surveillance, and effective clinical management in veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with highly specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes targeting a conserved genomic region of the Lumpy Skin Disease Virus genome.
During amplification, the probe specifically hybridizes to its target sequence and generates a fluorescence signal that is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, enabling sensitive, specific, and reliable detection of Lumpy Skin Disease Virus nucleic acid.
