Intended Use

Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technologies with pathogen-specific primers and fluorescent probes targeting conserved genomic regions of the feline viruses included in the panel.
During amplification, each probe hybridizes to its corresponding target sequence and emits fluorescence, which is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence signal is proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, enabling accurate detection and differentiation of the viral pathogens present in the sample.
