for EIAV qPCR Panel
The Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV) Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the detection of Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV) nucleic acid in veterinary clinical specimens collected from equids, including horses, donkeys, and mules. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of equine infectious anemia, supporting early disease detection, differential diagnosis of equine infectious diseases, timely implementation of disease control measures, disease surveillance, and effective clinical management in veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
Intended Use
The Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV) Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the detection of Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV) nucleic acid in veterinary clinical specimens collected from equids, including horses, donkeys, and mules. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of equine infectious anemia, supporting early disease detection, differential diagnosis of equine infectious diseases, timely implementation of disease control measures, disease surveillance, and effective clinical management in veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes reverse transcription real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) technology with highly specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes targeting a conserved genomic region of the Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV) genome.
During the reverse transcription step, viral RNA is converted into complementary DNA (cDNA), which is subsequently amplified by real-time PCR. The probe specifically hybridizes to its target sequence and generates a fluorescence signal that is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, enabling sensitive, specific, and reliable detection of Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV) RNA.
