for Bovine Circovirus
The Bovine Circovirus Real-Time PCR Detection Kit enables rapid and specific detection of Bovine Circovirus (BoCV) DNA from bovine EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood, serum, plasma, nasal swabs, fecal specimens, lymph node aspirates, tissue specimens, and other appropriate veterinary clinical samples. It supports early diagnosis, differential diagnosis of respiratory, enteric, and systemic infections, timely herd health management, and disease surveillance in cattle.
Intended Use
The Bovine Circovirus Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the detection of Bovine Circovirus (BoCV) nucleic acid in veterinary clinical specimens collected from cattle. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of bovine circovirus infection, supporting early disease detection, differential diagnosis of respiratory, enteric, and systemic infections, timely herd health management, disease surveillance, and effective clinical management in veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with highly specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes targeting a conserved genomic region of the Bovine Circovirus genome.
During amplification, the probe specifically hybridizes to its target sequence and generates a fluorescence signal that is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, enabling sensitive, specific, and reliable detection of Bovine Circovirus nucleic acid.
Performance Characteristics
