For Porcine vesicular disease
The Porcine Vesicular Disease Panel Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acids from multiple pathogens associated with vesicular and skin lesions in pigs. The assay delivers rapid, highly sensitive, and specific results, supporting accurate diagnosis and management of vesicular and dermatologic infections in swine populations.
Intended Use
The Porcine Vesicular Disease Panel Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the qualitative detection of nucleic acids from multiple pathogens associated with vesicular and skin lesions in pigs. The kit aids in the diagnosis, differential identification, and monitoring of vesicular and dermatologic infections in veterinary clinical settings.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with specific primers and fluorescent probes targeting conserved genomic regions of the pathogens included in the panel.
During amplification, each probe hybridizes to its target sequence and emits fluorescence, which is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence signal is proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, allowing accurate detection of the pathogens present in the sample.
Performance Characteristics
High analytical sensitivity for early-stage infection
High specificity for included vesicular disease pathogens
High reproducibility and stability
No cross-reactivity with unrelated porcine pathogens
Sample Type
EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood, vesicular fluid, or tissue samples (porcine)
