For Canine Adenovirus-1
Canine Adenovirus-1 (CAdV-1) Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of Canine Adenovirus-1 nucleic acid in canine whole blood or tissue samples. The assay delivers rapid, highly sensitive, and specific results, supporting accurate diagnosis of infectious canine hepatitis in companion animals.
Intended Use
The Canine Adenovirus-1 (CAdV-1) Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the qualitative detection of Canine Adenovirus-1 DNA extracted from canine whole blood or tissue samples. The kit aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of infectious canine hepatitis in veterinary clinical settings.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with specific primers and fluorescent probes targeting conserved regions of the Canine Adenovirus-1 genome.
During amplification, the probe hybridizes to the target sequence and emits fluorescence, which is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence signal is proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, allowing accurate detection of the pathogen.
Performance Characteristics
Sensitivity: 100%
Specificity: 100%
High reproducibility and stability
No cross-reactivity with other common canine blood or tissue pathogens
Sample Type
EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood, liver, or other clinical tissue samples (canine)
