Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) technology with specific primers and fluorescent probes targeting conserved regions of the Canine parainfluenza virus genome.
During amplification, the probe hybridizes to the target sequence and emits fluorescence, which is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence signal is proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, allowing accurate detection of viral RNA.
