Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology with specific primers and fluorescent probes targeting conserved regions of the Canine adenovirus-2 genome.
During amplification, the probe hybridizes to the target sequence and emits fluorescence, which is detected by compatible real-time PCR instruments. The increase in fluorescence signal is proportional to the accumulation of amplified product, allowing accurate detection of the viral DNA.
