Magnetic Bead–Based DNA/RNA Extraction Kit

The RetroMag DNA/RNA Extraction Kit is designed for efficient, simultaneous isolation and purification of high-quality genomic DNA and total RNA from a variety of biological sample types including whole blood, buffy coat, swabs, body fluids and microbial cultures. The kit uses magnetic bead–based nucleic acid purification technology and a streamlined workflow (lysis → binding → washing → elution) under optimized chaotropic and alcohol-based conditions to selectively bind nucleic acids and remove inhibitors.

Purified nucleic acids are suitable for downstream applications including PCR, real-time PCR, RT-PCR/cDNA synthesis, next-generation sequencing (NGS), Sanger sequencing, genotyping, SNP/STR analysis and gene expression profiling. The kit is compatible with manual magnetic stands and can be adapted to automated magnetic separation workflows.
